Buying points in American Football – NFL works as follows:

You can buy up to 3 points per game and you can place a combined bet from 2 to 10 games.

  1. For ‘Spread’ – You can buy from 0.5 to 3 points for the value of the odds of the house, in this option the points increase as the purchase of points and consequently the odds go down.
  2. In the ‘Moneyline’ option it is not possible to choose this points feature.
  3. Next, the ‘Totals’ bets of the game, you have the option to buy points from 0.5 to 3 points for the value of the house, but in this option in the purchase of points the total points decreases and consequently the odds decrease.

Two examples of bets with Spread and total:

Spread

Let’s say that in this NFL Season your favorite team is Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the odds are -6.5 Points / 1.83 odds and the value of your bet is $100 pesos / 1.83 = you will receive a potential value of $182.64 pesos, however if you buy 1.5 points the odds will change to -5 Points / (1.67) odds and your potential profit will be $166.67 pesos.

Total

If you place a total bet on a game in which the teams are DALLAS COWBOYS vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers and have an odds of +51.5 points/1.95 odds and the value of your bet is $100 Pesos/1.95 = Your potential profit will be $195.24 pesos, however if you buy 1 point the odds will decrease to 50.5 points (1.80) and your potential profit will be $180 Pesos.
